Meet our Horses
Rio
Molly
Rio is our golden boy. He shows you precisely the gap between who you are performing and who you actually are. His feedback is honest, immediate, and never unkind.
Molly gives permission. She is the Allowing mirror. Simply existing is enough with her. She has no interest in your performance and every interest in your peace.
Dolly
Dan
Dolly is a buggy horse from the Amish community. She came to us very contained and obedient. Slowly, she is emerging from her hiding place, just like the women who come here.
Dan is the elder statesman of the herd. At 25 years old, we do not ask much of Dan. When we do, he will very clearly let you know if you are present or not.
Tucson
Pippi One Stocking
Tucson responds to congruence. When your body, intention, and voice align, he moves. When they do not, he waits. He will not pretend not to notice.
Pippi reminds you that leadership can include joy. She meets every visitor with a warmth that makes even the most guarded woman exhale.
Paddy
Saltwater Taffy
Patrick came from out west as a carousel pony. So Paddy understands being forced to do something he would never have chosen to do. He now gets to choose to interact with people. He is a much happier pony for it.Â
Taffy came in with a group of ponies and minis that were headed to slaughter. He is one of the kindest sweetest souls. And even if he doesn't understand a request fully he will still give his best try.Â
Cinnamon Hearts
Jelly Bean
For those who have experienced exclusion, Cinnamon offers something rare: presence without condition. He chooses whom he trusts, and he trusts wisely.
Jelly Bean is our old soul. He is a being of presence and quiet. Having come from an abusive situation. Jelly Bean will only trust those who are honest and present. It is safety for him.Â
Snickers
Snickers was also abused in a former home. Like Jelly Bean he is slow to give his trust but when he does it is like sunshine through clouds. He is such a gentle little soul.Â
