Pura Vida Ranch
The Heart of the Ranch
About Lynn
Faith. Horses.
Saved my life.
I did not set out to build a healing space.
I set out to survive.
There have been years in my life that asked more of me than I thought I had. Coercion, abuse, trauma. The kind of weight that does not announce itself, it just accumulates until one day you realize you have not felt like yourself in a very long time.
The horses found me in the middle of that. Not the other way around.
They did not care what I was managing or what I was carrying. They cared only about who I was in the moment I stepped into the field. And in that honest, non-negotiable presence, something in me began to come back.
I finally believe that there is hope. And that it can be found here. That belief did not come cheaply. It came through years of hard seasons, real loss, and the quiet persistent wisdom of this herd.
I know what it is to lose yourself. I know what it takes to find your way back. And I know that the women who come to Pura Vida Ranch are often standing exactly where I was standing before I found mine. That is why I do this work. Not because I have it all figured out. Because I am one step ahead of you on a path I have actually walked.
I am Lynn. I live and work at Pura Vida Ranch with my husband Juan, our herd, and a piece of land in Ontario that I believe holds genuine healing for the women willing to receive it. Faith grounds everything we do here. You do not have to share my faith to benefit from what happens here. But you will feel it.
The quiet heart of the ranch.
Juan Carlos
The glue that holds us together. Juan is the quiet heart of the ranch. He keeps everything running, cares for the herd, and creates the conditions that make everything else possible. Behind every session, every program, and every moment of stillness on this property is his steady presence. He is our biggest blessing.
